The air's about as clean as vintage pesticide
Grass doesn't grow anymore, your yard is toxic dust
Strap your goggles on tight so your eyeballs don't crust
The oceans are bare and the lakes are dry
Only the rich can afford a monthly water supply
Avoid all human contact so the viruses don't spread
It's easier than it sounds when all your neighbors are dead

Even the 1% are now barely alive
All the wealth in the world was not enough to survive
Hospitals shut down as disease quickly spread
Their legacy and power meant nothing in the end
But a robotic military continues their endless war
Stockpiling the earth's resources so they can produce more
Android soldiers, bombs, weapons and pollution
The final stage of human evolution

We die, the same as we lived
Rotting in our skin
Existential meaninglessness

Captive by our ignorance
And those more fortunate
Turn our world to shit

It's too late to compromise
The world's aflame before our eyes
And nothing from the ash will rise
From ecocide to populicide

Nothing lost and nothing gained
Death and destruction is all that remains
All accomplishments were done in vain
Wasted lives through wasted days
